i like how your ave moves i found this yuna ave that moves and i wanted it so much exept it was 100x100. Darn i wish it can fit 100x100
It's 96?96 what the board takes; you can either:
- Resize it with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Make sure it's set to "resample", which will provide better quality (albeit it'll look a little more blurry).
- Crop. The difference is not that much, so with any decent software remove 4 lines and 4 columns (either 2 from every side or 4 from the two sides you want).
Mine 101x101, and still fits. You should be able to upload that moving ave of yours. Only the size of it can be too big, like over20Kb I guess... Wiseman could answer the limit.
Avatars larger than 96?96 will work, but they will look worse because browsers will rescale them poorly. They'll also look deformed if they don't have a 1:1 aspect ratio.
The maximum file size for avatars is 24 KB (24576 bytes). Users with larger avatars may be asked to change them.
Lossless and animated avatars (GIF) are allowed, though the use of animated avatars is not recommended (distract readers, disliked by some users, and animations are disabled in a good number of them like me so we won't see them). Also, GIFs are limited to 256 colors.

It's perfectly allowed, just some might not like animations, but if nobody complained you shouldn't change it (and even if they did, you may prefer not to change it). I didn't even know it was animated (I have animations disabled), so I don't mind at all.

I'm sorry but I'll have to ask you to change your nickname; the maximum allowed length by the last revision of the GR&R is 16 characters and yours is too long. This is a problem because of the way Hostboard generates HTML: threads have too much space between avatar and post (which is a waste of space) and the thread list is even worse, and can be unbearable in 800x600.
